The Positive Movement Band plays a wide variety of music including Dance, R&B, Soul, Motown, Blues and Jazz. It’s a great band for weddings, corporate banquets, private parties and specialty events.

The band is very effective in interacting with the audience – the vocalists actually get out in the crowd!

The band has a great blend with their lead vocalists. This allows the group to expand their song list to cover all the bases. The band primarily plays the hits of the 60′s, 70′s, and 80′s but they include some contemporary music from Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Bruno Mars, Pharrell and etc – for the younger crowd.

In summary, The Positive Movement Band has it all – great talent, crowd interaction, a great mix of music for all age groups, and satisfied customers.

We hired The Positive Movement Band to be the band at my daughter’s wedding reception. They were AMAZING! We had prepared a playlist in advance with everything from the Isley Brothers to Katy Perry and they played every song just as requested. The dance floor was crowded for nearly 4 hours and that is the greatest compliment of all. I highly recommend The Positive Movement Band for any event.

I wanted to let you know how much we all enjoyed The Positive Movement Band Saturday night. They interacted with the audience, and had everybody up dancing. My son got on stage and sang and danced with the vocalist. They were energetic, fun, not to mention very entertaining and talented. It was a fantastic evening.

We had the privilege of having The Positive Movement Band play for a wedding reception at the Hilary J. Boone Center. They incorporated a chemistry and passion into their show so you couldn’t sit down! There is something for everyone – young and young at heart.

The Positive Movement Band was an amazing addition to our wedding reception. The band was energetic and got everyone dancing. The lead singer even got out on the dance floor and taught a few dances. We could not have asked for more! Thanks for everything!

I can sincerely say The Positive Movement Band is the best band I have ever seen play at a wedding. They did a remarkable job playing a variety of songs from various genres of music while playing to the crowd and getting the guests out on the dance floor. The members of the band were extremely professional and interacted in an incredible manner with the crowd. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a top notch show band for their wedding reception.

After interviewing and researching many wedding bands, we fortunately discovered The Positive Movement Band and ended up being one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Two months after our wedding, guests are still raving about the band. With the song list ranging from Michael Jackson to Ray Charles to Beyonce Knowles – it hits on a wide spectrum and more importantly they make people really want to get out on the dance floor. From beginning to end — The Positive Movement Band brought the house down.
